They're BACK!!!    We haven't had these rhizome clips in years, but just got in a number of this size.  More sizes to come in the next month or two.

If you've ever had a newly repotted orchid lacking in roots, you know the struggle to keep it upright in the pot.   For orchids with pseudobulbs, such as cattleya, a rhizome clip is the perfect solution.   This 6" rhizome clip for plastic pots, clips tightly over the rim of a classic plastic flower pot (with defined rim) 6.5" width or more, crosses over the pseudobulbs and keeps everything secure until new roots can grow.  They are just about ever lasting, and with proper cleaning can be used again and again.  With effort they can be bent.

Wonderful!

I got so excited when I saw these for sale again that I ordered them instantly. After re-potting two midsize unifoliate Catts with these rhizome clips, I almost cried with joy! Fussy-‘bout—roots orchids like Catts, locked in place immediately after repotting?! Joyous! So pleased! They worked perfectly, right on the money (but unlike use on clay, they can very very slightly bend/deform very thin plastic pots, which doesn’t bother me—custom fit!)

I use this one larger size for pots down to 4”. I just bend (or twist off) the extra length on the free end with pliers.
