A great size between seedling and medium size.. at 1/2" (9-12mm) it's great for smaller cattleya, encyclia, epidendrium... very nice.

I am starting to really love this stuff... it wets beautifully and stays moist without staying wet.. just what orchids love. And not having to mix it? That's a great thing... I use it right from the bag.. no pre-wetting required.. makes potting a dream!

This gallon bag gallon will way overflow an 8" bulb pan.

Great bark!

I got 2 bags to test since I had been on a little orchid buying spree. The orchiata was shipped quickly and perfectly packaged. They are the perfect size for the 3" sized pots I got from Quarter Acre Orchids and I love that you don't have to pre-wet the bark. I find the bark is not dusty like other brands and they are all a good size thick piece and not just tall/flat pieces like other brands which is what I wanted. :)
