Shipping as calculated on your original order is an estimate only, and will be adjusted accordingly upon shipping. Shipping is usually less than originally quoted, but occasionally will be slightly more.
Calculated rates can differ greatly depending on what shipping method is chosen, the size of the box, and new fuel and delivery surcharges, charged by the shippers.
We ship via US Post office (Priority Mail and First Class), and FedEx Ground Residential and Business. We will select the most economical shipping method depending on your order. FedEx Gound cannot be shipped to a P.O. Box.
Our handling and supply fee is small ($2 to $5 per order) and is intended merely to help defray the costs of shipping supplies. This fee is added to each order, in addition to the actual shipping cost.
The website is currently setup to accept orders from (and to ship to) the following countries: Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweeden and the UK. I can ship most products to any international destination as well.. just let us know if you are somewhere other than the above countries, and I'll add you to the list!
Please note that shipping internationally can be very expensive (I mean rediculous) and we are not responsible for any tarriffs you may have to pay once you receive your items.
We also delivery to the
National Capital Orchid Society monthly meetings at the National Arboretum in Washington, D.C., as well as to the
Hollin Hills Orchid Society monthly meetings in Annandale, VA, for a very nominal delivery fee of $2.
We generally try to ship orders out within a day or two of receipt, but occassionally will be delayed by a few days due to work or travel. If we will be unable to ship for any length of time, we will put a note in our calendar, as well as an response reply to any order you may place.
If you have received broken or damaged orchid supplies, or you accidentally ordered the wrong product, please notify us within 5 days of receiving your order. Any items
which need to be returned should be done so, in resalable condition, within 14 days for replacement or full credit (less shipping & handling charges).
