I will be traveling a huge amount this summer, much for business (new job), and some for pleasure, and I apologize that there will be periods when the shop will be closed, and when I will be unable to ship internet orders. I’m working on finding someone to man the shop in my absence, so please check back here before you come. We might actually be open. All internet orders will be shipped as quickly as possible upon my returns from various trips. I appreciate everyone’s understanding .. It’ll all settle down after Labor Day. Labor Day Weekend.. August 30th through Sept 3rd. Last trip of the summer, and not much impact on shipping.. The retail shop will, however, be closed.
September 20th… REALLY the last trip of the summer.. Well.. I guess technically it’s the first trip of the fall, so I didn’t actually fib when I said that Labor Day was the last closing of the summer! Check back here, though.. I’m trying to find someone to keep the shop open on the 20th.
October 11-13th—The National Capital Orchid Society Fall Orchid Show. Check NCOS.US for more details. National Arboretum, Washington DC. We’ll be there with all our supplies. There will also be gobs of vendors selling orchids, of course… NCOS members can come shopping Friday night before the crowds!
